Hello again all, I am looking for a second opinion on these 3 coins that I got from online, which started my journey into numismatics.
While I am not fully doubting the information I was given on them, I'm more so looking for what the Numista community thinks.
All 3 coins were said to have been from the Amirs of Sindh, and all 3 are all labelled as Damma/ 1/6th Dirham. I have used an XRF to also get a breakdown in their composition.
The 1st coin was labelled as ‘Ahmad (Ca 1030)’ and is 0.31g, 6.46/6.71mm diameter with a composition of Copper 74%, Silver 16% and Zinc 7% with smaller percentile trace elements.
The 2nd coin was labelled as ‘Ibrahim (1059-1099)’ and weighs 0.59g, 10.17mm/9.28mm in diameter with a composition of Silver 53%, Copper 39% and Lead 6% with smaller percentile trace elements of Gold and Iron.
The 3rd coin was also labelled as ‘Ibrahim (1059-1099)’ and weighs 0.30g, 7.45/9.26mm in diameter with a composition of 68% Copper, 26% Silver and 5% Lead with other smaller percentile trace elements.
Any information and input are greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.
