I don't think this is a coin or even a medal. It looks like a pendant specifically made for jewelry. There is no writing, denomination, or date. Also the loop appears to be made with the item, not added later.
Also too large and 3-dimensional for a coin. For best results, it's best to include diameter and weight with all identification requests. Hopefully another member may have an idea what this item is.
