I have an example of this coin dated 1792 but with AA mint mark

I have an example of this coin dated 1792 but with AA mint mark, which appears to be genuine, but AA mint mark does not seem to apply to this coin type prior to 1797, so what's going on?

Always show pictures! So I don't have to ask if you're sure FRANÇAIS is written on your coin and not FRANÇOIS?

does have 1792 AA on it.
