Whilst rummaging through my old coin collection I found this 1921 One Penny with a weird looking ear? Searching online I found articles about a ‘Recessed’ ear anomaly on some coins?

Ive attached a couple of images of said coin with a view to finding out more about this coin and this ear as seen on the images?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I've had a look at the coin I have and with what I can see from the image you graciously supplied, It looks like a broken tooth above the ‘T’ but I could be wrong?

I've already told you more than I know.  😉 Maybe someone else might know.

Welcome to numista.

You must have seen the above documentation on the coin page in the "comments" section, there are quite a few others, so learn to use numista.
