CV 100 Escudos with bronze rings, sets only?

Hi everyone,

All the 100CVE coins in these beautiful BU sets are with the bronze ring (red) while usual circulation pieces are brass/yellow.

Can anyone confirm or deny that a bronze variety was issued outside the set, for the circulation? Set is made in somewhat higher quality so even impaired coins are bold and glossy. I do see one VF piece here on swap lists though.

The comment ‘In set only’ should only be used for years (UNC/buisness strikes) that are only available in sets.
