Hello,

Can we please modify this page to include all obverse & reverse variants?

N#57357

There was a discussion recently that outlined all of the variants and I think we should modify the page to reflect those findings:

Here are the obverse variants:

Here are the reverse variants:

Thank you!

No problem with this! Are the mod requests in?

I collect anything: If it's Italian or Italian states i collect it even more!

Hi! Thank you! I am not sure, this was the only request I saw put through. Appreciate the help!

Matteo

@loruca   I am working on doing this slightly differently so that the variants (of entire coins, not just one side) can be linked to the CNI catalog examples.  It will be done in a little bit.

Noted!

I collect anything: If it's Italian or Italian states i collect it even more!

@loruca , @Essor Prof , @Matt_Russo   An extensive Comments section has now been added describing the main obverse and reverse design variants (more or less aligned with Essor Prof's original observations), and linking them to the seven CNI varieties  illustrated in Plate XXV, and giving each a date line.  Also noted in the Comment is that additional more minor die variation exist.

Matt_Russo  your coin is the CNI IX# 38 variety.

Essor Prof thanks for the research on the variation that got this headed in the right direction (and your earlier request can be cancelled).

FInally, the way this was done, I left the members on the date line for the coin in the photo,  which will not be accurate because this is one of the rarer vaieties, so anyone else who is following the thread may want to move their coin to the correct variety.

Awesome! Thank you very much for this!

Matteo
