@loruca , @Essor Prof , @Matt_Russo An extensive Comments section has now been added describing the main obverse and reverse design variants (more or less aligned with Essor Prof's original observations), and linking them to the seven CNI varieties illustrated in Plate XXV, and giving each a date line. Also noted in the Comment is that additional more minor die variation exist.
Matt_Russo your coin is the CNI IX# 38 variety.
Essor Prof thanks for the research on the variation that got this headed in the right direction (and your earlier request can be cancelled).
FInally, the way this was done, I left the members on the date line for the coin in the photo, which will not be accurate because this is one of the rarer vaieties, so anyone else who is following the thread may want to move their coin to the correct variety.
