The Łódź Ghetto coinage is  currently listed under Poland/General Government Emergency coinage, but it was only for the ghetto.

I can't find an ghettos under Issuers, just cities, towns, municipalities, but I also can't find other coinage listed in Numista for another ghetto.

English name: Łódź Ghetto (Ghetto Litzmannstadt)

French name: ghetto de Łódź

Spanish name: gueto de Łódź

(The Litzmannstadt version is listed in Wikidata under English, German, and some other languages but not under French or Spanish.)

Introduction:

Łódź Ghetto was an area in the city of Łódź, Poland, used by Nazi Germany to imprison Polish Jews and Roma. The gates closed in April 1940 and the ghetto persisted until August 1944.

Interesting case.

Wouldn't the “authority” still have been the General Government (i.e. the occupation authorities?)

The ghetto issues could be set up as their own Series.

The official issuers were the Jewish Elders of Litzmannstadt (the DER AELTESTE DER JUDEN IN LITZMANNSTADT on the coins). Other issuers just say “city of” instead of giving the formal name of the local government.

Numista has Issuer and Ruling authority (and currency). It would be more precise to have Issuer, Region, and Ruling authority but in most case Region would be identical to the current Issuer field. (Although there are some other areas where that split could be used.)

I would agree with making the Lodz Ghetto its own issuer.

[…] but I also can't find other coinage listed in Numista for another ghetto.

There was also the Terezin Ghetto (or Theresienstadt, but banknotes only). That place was fairly different than Lodz, with a long explaination given on one of the banknote pages, but it did still classify as a Ghetto.
