 Lettering, if it helps anyone 

O MARIA OHNE SÜNDE EMPF[ANGEN] BITTE F[ÜR] U[NS] 

DIE WIR ZU DIR UNS[ERE] ZUFLUCHT NEHMEN 

 - hopefully correct. Other side a bit small to read. 

Translation: O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Reverse: 
• The large letter "M" for Mary
• Cross and bar – Jesus Christs' cross of redemption for mankind. The interlacing of the M and 

the cross shows Mary's close involvement with her son. 

  With it in hand what is written around the three characters on the other side?

On the other side, the raised image of the Virgin Mary, and the French words, 

"O Marie Concue Sans Peche Priez Pour Nous Qui Avons Recours A Vous" and "1830."
