That shield is: Free imperial city of Nuremberg 

 Not much to see on the other side.

 That [link] is an example of that shield [shown below]. 

The other side may also be yours, 

as whatever it is, there is a circle round it. 

 Will look at the lettering … 

 If the second side is now turned like below, 

perhaps it shows a standing figure. Not quite like 

that in the link, but may be similar, 

and known as a Venus Penny possibly. 

 Will look at the lettering next …
