According to Wikipedia, Blexen is a district of the Lower Saxony town of Nordenham in the northeast of the Wesermarsch district at the mouth of the Weser (opposite Bremerhaven), where more than 2,750 people live.
As part of the Oldenburg administrative reform, Blexen lost its independence on March 27, 1933 and was incorporated into the city of Nordenham.
