Hello all !
I'd like to start again with stamps swaps but don't know what website choose to do so.
Is there someone knowing which is the best web site for that ?
knowing that I am an intermediate collector (40 years gently collecting and around 20,000 stamps) and especially look for pre 50's ).
thanks for all idea !
I recommend two ways of recording your stamps: a PDF of the Scott Catalogue and Colnect. If you want I can send you PDFs of the 2008 Scott Catalogue, which you can highlight throughout the book the stamps you own. The catalogue also gives the exact dates and values of your stamps; for older stamps, hinged and mint never hinged values.
Colnect, with its database of stamps, is helpful when organizing your stamps by year, series, nation, and also gives you a number of stamps that are in your collection. The problem with Colnect is that, unlike Numista, many stamp types are not uploaded on the website and cannot be added by the members of the site.
If you have any questions about your stamps, such as where they are from or what they are worth, send me a PM and I'll help you out.
