No albums for me! I prefer being able to actually hold the coins I own. My rarer and more valuable examples are stored in flips but practically everything else is right out in the open.

Mine are organized by country, oldest coins first. I prefer not to use staples, since I like to be able to handle the coins as well. Here's the first page of Portugal:
