Something is not right here, in the comments section I find this:

Comments

NOTE: From year 1992, this coin also exists under KM#117 in some Editions of Standard Catalog of World Coins, but it is the same coin, a mistake has been made in the Standard Catalog of World Coins, creating confusion. These coins are all the same and must be classified under KM#36.

Two main types are known.

Obverse

Die 1 - all details small, legend far from beads, cross of crown to the right of a bead, I in ELIZABETH between beads, 136 beads.
Die 2 - all details large, legend closer to beads, cross of crown to a bead, I in ELIZABETH to a bead, 121 beads.

Known combinations:
Die 1 1974, 1976.
Die 2 1974, 1976, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1985 (N#15391), 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2012, 2015, 2017.

and in the year lines I find this:

Either the comments are wrong and there are not two versions or the year lines should be changed to reflect the comments, but having it like this is a “shooting yourself in your own feet”?

Can anybody clear this up? I don't have the coins to prove or not, the statements in the comments section….

Thanks

Ole

I have only one piece of this coin and will not count the beads :-)

I guess the bottom part of comment is wrong. The variants refers to the obverse which is common with 1985 FAO coin but anyway, this FAO coin shouldn't be listed here. Instead, I would wrote simply that 1974 & 1976 have different variants and on all other years are the die type 2. No sense to list all years.

These variants differences are so small and hard to see without optical instruments that most of the users probably don't care… if you split 1974 for two yearlines, what to do with existing users? Move them to third line “1974 no further details”? Maybe adding the short comment to 1974 and 1976 “2 variants exists, see comments” will be sufficient.

For the doubled KM# number, this happened a lot of times that Krauze listed similar coin from another year under the new km number instead continue into the old one.

I shortened it considerably. It comes from member who uses lots of words.
