Salve, dovrebbe essere 1 scellino di Carlo I d'Inghilterra, posto la pagina perché ce ne sono di diversi tipi.

Thank you ,I am a  new user to  Numista , unsure of which coin in the link you have sent ,

As far as I know of this coin from someone else ,

Charles 1 Shilling , Sun mint mark 1649 struck under parliament , as to which bust unsure ,

Hopefully it is someone’s field here for confirmation , any more details and also valuation if possible Thanks

There is only one coin in that search list that has the sun mintmark: N#357869

With respect to value, the piece is heavily worn and clipped: https://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/great-britain-shilling-km-110-1625-49-cuid-1161589-duid-1328446

I will tag this one , 6  th bust ,

I could be mistaken but link just refers to all shillings regardless of variation,  ie , rarity or mint mark ,
but thanks again for reply

If you go to the bottom of the coin page, there is a list of four year lines, one for each mintmark variety.

The best way to get an idea of value is to search auction listings for sold lots featuring this coin.

Thanks for taking time to explain , just getting used to the site . From what I see on the one displayed the contributor has marked fine , the one I have looks a lot better and I think I will have to up my value to 3 Digits and  also graded condition  on this coin based only on what I see

I am no expert at grading hammered silver coinage but my opinion on grade of your coin would also be fine. At the end of the day, the value of any piece is going to be equivalent to what someone is willing to pay on the day. I know I have been guilty of paying ‘over the odds’ for a coin I particularly wanted in my collection.

Thanks again for reply ,  with respect I think the difference in fine on the grade is obvious, unless Its much more broader in Terms than I thought

And I do take on board your comment on valuations , Thanks
