Links to coins below as your way of telling their ids does not covert into links
Mint is not correct too. KM315 says Hannover. Other Saxony. Deutsche Bundesbank says that B is for Hanover til 1878.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the coin, so I'm hoping someone who does has the pictures responds to this post. Thanks for pointing out a usable image - unfortunately I don't know much about image editing.
open in image editor and crop to obverse or reverse.

Ma-Shops don't allow use of their pictures. I don't see them on the list of approved sites for pictures.

That link is for Münz- und Edelmetallhandel Andreas Fenzl GmbH shop in ma-shops. ma-shops does not allow use of images from their site cause they do not own those images. Shop owners do.
Ah…I see. Thanks.
Fixed that was completely my fault 🤦 I approved that picture of a friend’s thinking they clicked the correct page. They both are Mecklenburg and on both the second name started with S.
Someone published the thumbnail not the full size picture.

I did that.
Getting on that I now see that just clicking save image on them does not do the full size

Should be fixed now, all good?
yep
According to information on a Wikipedia page about coinage in Mecklenburg, the letter "B" given is not a mint mark (which would be Hanover at the time), but rather a mint master's mark from the mint master Gustav Julius Buschick, who worked at the Dresden Mint. In this respect, the original information about the mint was correct.
https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecklenburgische_M%C3%BCnzgeschichte
Translation of the information here:
Revers: Nominal in two lines 1 PFENNIG below the year and below the mint master's mark B. Inscription above: HUNDERT EINE MARK and below SCHEIDE MÜNZE
only 1872 Dresden / mint master Gustav Julius Buschick (1860 to 1887), stamp cutter Max Barduleck (1871–1911)
wikipedia is not authoritative source. Anybody can edit that page and put whatever they like there. What is the source of their claim that mint was in Dresden?
Source for Hanover mint is online catalogue version of Standard Catalog of World Coins. https://numismaster.com/MC_68858
This book is listed as a reference - unfortunately I don't have it.
Michael Kunzel: Das Münzwesen Mecklenburgs von 1492 bis 1872. Berlin 1994
I have purchased the Large German Coin Catalog (AKS) and will check the information once I receive it.
I got the book and according to the (translated) information in the Large German Coin Catalogue by Arnold/Küthmann/Steinhilber (AKS) on page 254 (37th edition), "Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1872) had 5, 2 and 1 pfennig pieces minted in Dresden according to the new imperial currency, which, however, did not comply with the Coinage Act of 9 July 1873...". Furthermore, the following is stated about the mints in which Mecklenburg-Schwerin had minted: 1872 Dresden, mint master's mark B (Gustav Julius Buschick). For this reason, the indication of Hanover as a mint is incorrect.
I also initiated a modification to correct the mint. I also have an idea how the incorrect information in the online catalog came about. For coins denominated in marks or their subunit pfennig, the letters of the mints usually apply - but this only applies to coins that were produced in accordance with the Coinage Act of 9 July 1873. However, this does not apply to the coin at issue here, which was rather produced according to the characteristics of the thaler/gulden period. For this reason, the mint master's mark (B) was still used in Dresden and not the identification of the mint (E).
