4,105 of September's new members selected a nation. 634 are American, 558 are French, 275 are Indian, 198 are Filipino, 176 are British and 164 are Canadian. 136 nations are represented this month, and 83 of them have added at least one coin to their collections.
There were notable surges in memberships from Canada, Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, Georgian Republic, Germany, India, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Japan, Jordan, Netherlands, Portugal and Yemen.
Angola, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Fiji, Ghana, Guyana, Iceland, Isle of Man, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Liberia, Macau, Maldives, Namibia, Niger, Papua New Guinea, Qatar, Taiwan, Turkmenistan, U.S. Virgin Islands and Uzbekistan each gained one new member.
Colombia passed Indonesia for 32nd rank.
Of the top 20 nations, Mexico grew the fastest in September (4.4% increase), while Italy grew the slowest (0.7%). The USA grew by 1.3% and France grew by 1.6%.
