Could there be a new year added to this coin?

And the encompassing information therein, I have, together with some other numista members found a new variation of this coin.

I don't think so, it's just a minor variety. Different dies for the same type. For example, check Seychelles KM#48a KM#49a, their differences are also noticeable but they are the same type of coin.
