Sure, I think I can help. I've been storing and preserving silver for about 2 years now. It's very easy but your budget decides on how organized and creative you can be.
If you have no money, you can roll up the coins of the same size) with newspaper, this is just as effective and basically free. If you have the ability to pay for a better system, I use plastic cointainers and bank rolls and my safe is checked for humidity and other factors via a computer.
Want coins banknotes and antiques for a fair price or for trade? http://coinsnnotes.tk is your solution! Also lets trade! My coins are better than VG! Associated with coinsnnotesUK.
Though I doubt the OP asked sincerely I'm interested in this topic. Especially low cost but safe storage methods. I wonder about newspaper, is it safe for long term storage?

Since the ink comes off on your fingers when you fold them I doubt newspaper would be safe for long term storage. Personally I use the self-adhesive cardboard flips. They're a bit more expensive than other flips but you don't need to worry about air or carboard dust damaging the coin.....and they look pretty.

When you buy shoes, keep the box and put your coins in it.
Oh, wait.... never mind.
Okay this made me laugh, but we probably shouldn't be making jokes like this as there might be others who are actually in this situation. I really would like to see him and all of his threads ignored and forgotten.

That's really true.
Some people could get sensitive over our little silliness, even if we don't mean any harm (except to the swindler). Then again, I almost twisted my leg yesterday, but if it did break forever I wouldn't complain about it like Coinsoldier.

These jokes are a nice little cool-down from all the "drama".
One of my dearest friends in England lost both his legs above the knee when he was two years old. He is known by everyone, and even introduces himself as Gary No Legs.
Because he had never really walked on his own legs he was so adpet at walking with his falsies that you couldn't tell. He teaches those who have lost legs due to trauma how to walk again and has no tolerance for self pity and quitters.
I have very fond memories of him as a great drinking partner. When sufficiently drunk he would take off his legs and run around the bar on his stumps. We once put his shirt and tie, pants and legs on backwards and stood him at the bar. As everything else was facing away from the bar it looked like his head was on backwards.
I can assure you all that he would have thought the joke was funny as hell.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
