So these are two books, released at the same time, with continuous numbering?

It's like the classic numismatic books. It has a first part with an in-depth study of Visigothic coins, and a second part that catalogs all known coins. The study is the volume 1. The catalog is the volume 2.

 

There is also an Annex I with the new coins found until 2012. It is online in pdf http://institucional.us.es/revistas/spal/21/art_12.pdf
