I think it would be cool if we could add a country's coat of arms to the page somehow, not sure how it would work but it would be a lot of work and maybe it is too much

I agree, Coat of Arms is frequently presented on the coins… 

What is more, I guess it could be worth to have flag, coat of arms, small map and 5-6 phrase of country description (geographical & historical info), no more to don't writenthe long text. Plus special section for coinage history (also short to not create too much text here).

If I correctly remeber, there was some country description in the history but it was closed.

Not sure too much information should be added…

But it would look nice to add the flag / coat of arms to the blurb at the top of the issuer page.
