I think this is not a Supervalu token! 
I have been shopping in Supervalu for over 30 years, and have never seen such a token, nor have the staff in Supervalu that I asked about it (I asked an owner/manager at one of my locals who has been there for as long as I remember). 

This is a token which was found in a Supervalu shopping trolley. So it is the size of a 1 euro or 1 Pound coin - could be from anywhere!

I wonder who accepted this submission, and in what manner did they check its accuracy.

EDIT: I will see if I can find an actual Supervalu trolley token.

Just because you have asked in YOUR community about this item does not mean it wasn't used at a Supervalu in another location. I doubt that one local owner/manager in one local store is any better of a source for accuracy to dispute the page, and ask for a deletion. 

Sure no worries. Leave it there then.

True, it should not be deleted, but it should also not be assigned to a supermarket chain just because someone found it in one od their trolleys.
