Fat Man dolar

A sailor grandfather sailed the seas with merchant ships and this rare and silver one I know nothing about - he got a coin from a light woman in a backcountry sailor's bar in the port of Yokohama - She said: thank you for your kindness and gratitude.

I've had it for a long time and it's been used a lot and maybe even cleaned.

I would like to exchange it preferably for paper or fabric, i.e. euro or dollar bills.

Now this may surprise or shock you. But this page is about coins, and this thread is ,, Coin info and questions ,,

If you have nothing to contribute, at least don't disturb your colleague.

one US cent has 696 -x threads and someone claimed that we are all tired of it and that we have had enough?

So please do not disturb!

Here I put on the table one of the most counterfeited coins in the world.

Beautiful even with a fairy tale. I was inspired in the summer by a colleague from Miami in the USA - where he claimed that they have a federal law that every copy should have the mark,,FAKE,,

Check out US E-bay - how many fat man coins are offered daily.

144 -coins

My goal in this thread was and is to point out the importance of what we are witnessing. Many people in the world open our site ,, Numista,, when referring and searching on google. They are looking for questions and answers.

I was also asked by young collectors,, So show us the fake?,,

I had a visit from friends and the question was what is China counterfeiting and marketing in tons and I had nothing to show so I started making an album "Chinese unmarked copy" Someone may object that I am supporting it by collecting - there are a few thousand of us active here - but there are billions of people in the world and this market is voracious.

Only America is still an example for us - Here are the posts on our website with fairy tales from America:

Colleagues, let's help people - ignorant collectors who visit our website Numista so that they don't get caught, A large number of fat man offers take place daily on our popular sales website, price 2000-3000 CZK, which is 100 to 150 dollars:

Well, mine flew to me from China - free shipping for less than $3 along with other copies. From ordering to delivery in 9 days without customs fees and worries about paying for shipping, etc.

Our goal here is to educate and learn, to explain the pitfalls of the market. To help new collectors and people. We will not stop the market - the market is the master of the situation, we must warn and inform each other.

What are the experiences of your domestic sales websites? What makes each copy different? Why are they non-magnetic?

Why are there unmarked copies on the market in America even though the law is so clear and e-bay offers them?

Yeah dude we have 144 fat man threads on our site but on the sales site they also have 144 fat man for sale -so it's exactly 1:1

OK, my friend - The opening story was also supposed to be a bait - to provoke. But you're an old eagle and I don't need to teach you how to fly.

I'm already preparing a sample of the second one and will post their description.

Stories of the fat man's dollar and purchases from trusted street beggars fascinate me, so I began with a provocation.

Ivan

Last year, my wife wanted to buy me some coins for x-mas without asking or telling me about that, of course! Amongst them were of course a “fat man”, she had bought the coins in a coin shop in Boston. No need to say, that the coins were all counterfeits.

Happy and sad at the same time, but it wouldn't happen to her in Miami. 😁

Miami vice? I'm not sure about, why it wouldn't happen in Miami?

Because there they have a federal law that applies to the entire territory of all states.😁🤣

,, that's the humor that's kept me going since the summer—when I fell off the deckchair on the beach when our member advised me to keep the gold ducats of our Emperor Francis Joseph II. - year 1915 (new official state production - coinage) across the entire coin, "FAKE - if it is a federal law" otherwise it must not go beyond the big pond and it should be shameful to own fakes in our country.,,

This is just for laughs. So my wife ordered a real one from the brick and mortar store for Christmas - under the tree, but they rubber-stamped the prices, but they remained available and I regretted how much she spent when I could have gotten them for a third of the price.

You can see that our women enjoy our hobbies - better than sitting around bars and playing with girls at slot machines (that is, losing)

I will post what I know about the measurements of the fat man from China.

Measurement and sample:

a,

non-magnetic metal? - the surface seems to be silver but for $3 I don't believe it's silver?

size: 38,93 mm

Weight: 26,24g

thickness: 2,84 mm

N#295744   - I don't like the weight here - steel etc. so what is this option?

And is it supposed to be a copy - a fake imitation of this coin? N#240901

b,

non-magnetic metal?  less than $3 too ( with free -shipping in 9 days) ,, a fool would look for silver at this price,,

size: 39 mm

Weight: 26,18g

thickness: 2,90 mm

1 Yuan "Fat Man dollar"; with Kan Su Year

N#16006  -Is it a fake from this real one?

Do we have it in exonumia among copies - fakes?

It boggles my mind a bit (that's okay) when we have wonderful historical treasures in exonumia - investment pro and right next to it something that we can't even properly identify and label?

How many of these variants do we have?

If you are interested, I will also look at the sizes of the other fakes I ordered:

basically silver for two to three $ -nice nonsense friends 🤡

Do you have other types from another manufacturer with different metal properties - are they magnetic for example?

I'm about to send another order - I'm going to buy all of "China" for the album "modern fake copies" made for idiots who don't know what to do with money 🙈

Ivan

1 yuan "fat man dollar"; with Kang Su - I really didn't find it among exonumia.

N#16006

On the other hand, the original coin is owned by an incredible number of collectors?

Everyone buys it in "VF" quality ?

I'm really the only one of my kind who bought a fake exonumia for $2 ??

I order a beer to drink - a mug with the inscription: I am the only one of my kind. 🤣

Or am I wrong and already lying to myself?

Yes, I believe that many collectors have the original, but who has the copy?
