I started editing N#44459 using Firefox desktop and changed the slash in the title to a fraction slash to change "1/25" to "1⁄25".

Nothing happened when I entered a comment and clicked Modify data. It appears that the check for a modification doesn't recognize that a change of “/” to “⁄” as a change.

The fraction appears correctly though?

On mobile (Android) it's just a normal 1 / 25 not the fancy one.

I am on Android too

On desktop, Android Firefox, and Android Chrome it appears as a character sequence for me, not a fraction.

can you please rename your bug report then, and specify your exact browser and Android version to help Xavier investigate?

I just managed to make the edit on Firefox Android, but it was very painful. I'll stick to desktop for editing.

Hm I used Opera and Chrome on Android all latest versions and I don't have the format maybe a Samsung issue?

This displays correctly as a proper fraction in Firefox on OSX, but displays as a character string 1/25 on Brave and Safari browers.
