News from Denmark: The Royal Danish Mint closes its webshop

News from Denmark:

The webshop for the Royal Danish Mint is closing at the end of the year. This is due to falling interest in the products and raising costs of productions and the fact that Denmark and the Danes are moving away from cash.

This means there will no longer be coin rolls and year sets produced.

As I understand it, they will not sell physical products at all, after they close the webshop.

The Mint will still produce commemorative and other special coins, but not as part of sets or coinrolls. Only for direct circulation. Good luck for collectors of UNC coins.

This is probably one of the reasons why the 2023 coins was only released for circulation and not in rolls.

OK, then no proof coins, that's not a problem for me, as long as the RDM brings new coins into circulation with new years every so often?
