In 1836 Peru was divided in two, South and North Peru. so that the Northern part could be considered the actual Peru and the Southern a new country with its own currency.

So I propose to split the coins from Republic of South Peru into a new issuer.

I agree South Peru should be separate but why not North Peru as well? I don't seen why North Peru should be considered the “actual Peru” during the Peru–Bolivian Confederation.

I brought this same subject up back in 2017 on this thread: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic62041.html#p509356

These two issuers have been created and the coins have been moved.
