Quote: Mark240590I passed my HGV class 2 rigid wagon liscence. What's your story ?
Divide and transplant my lily bed, cut back the palm trees, 2 cold beers, 1 nap, 1 pizza, write to Congressman Young, call Mother who thinks I've moved to Winsconsin, called attorney demanding money, write to White House asking why our Ambassador is in Benghazi instead of Tripoli, 2 cold beers 1 vicodin, feeling much happier with beer and vicodin so call back attorney and ask for money nicely, write to Senator Marco Rubio, write to Rep. Issa re. Benghazi question, sign petition to secede for Florida, North Carolina and Texas.
Trip to Walmart, which I loathe, to buy bulbs for Christmas lights, tell panhandler to get a job, buy 50 Remington .357 Magnum hollow points, 2 cold beers, cook magificent ribeye steak in red wine sauce.
Not bad, the day is still young.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
Cycled (in the freezing fog) across the rare bridge in Bromham (it has little sections for pedestrians to stand back in while traffic passes), to go to the Post Office; and while there get lottery tickets and next week's Radio Times, and saw also they had the double issue for Christmas. Then two shops down went and got fish and chips i.e. cheesy chips for me and battered fish for the cat. Got a cold can of Coca-Cola Vanilla from my fridge - had to pay a lot for it as it available only as a USA import - they do not make that flavour in UK. Now wondering where my coin and medal collection will be on 01.01.2101
I had to leave school because I seem to have the flu and have vomited several times. I also feel like my muscles aren't functioning and can barely move. But other than that it's been pretty normal...
I forgot that today was 12/12/12... I remember hearing about it on CBC radio a few days ago but it slipped my mind today, until I saw this board. I am happy that my day consisted of a little bit of work and lots of coining! I dropped off the last bunch of coins I searched through at the bank and picked up 2 boxes of nickles, 2 boxes of pennies, and 20 rolls of quarters to search through this week.
I went through the quarters already and found 4 rolls (total) of commemorative quarters (all the random ones, 1973 RCMP's, 1992 provinces, 1999 months, 2000 millenium, random colored and other dates)... no silver or 1999P though :P
So in 80 years I would be 107... hmmm... could still be coining then... lol.
Well, I'm late to this thread and one of the reasons for me being pretty passive over last few weeks (not that I was very active before that) was that we moved into a new house on 12/12/12.
I also "kept track" of these dates over last 12 years.
01/01/01 - a birthday of a guy I worked with at the time,
02/02/02 - my own b-day,
03/03/03 - another guy's b-day, still in the same company,
05/05/05 - two friends had their b-day!
08/08/08 - friend's b-day
12/12/12 - well, we moved after 13 years at our previous place
The Mayans never thought the world was going to end. 21/12/2012 was just the end of a cycle, 22/12/2012 was the start of a new cycle. Only the idiot conspiracy nuts believed the world was going to end.
Sheesh, you'd think the would would be a bit smarter after a few hundred years. We stopped thinking the world was flat but still believe an ancient civilisation has the foreknowledge to predict the end of the world.
LOL, its right no different to the calendar we follow now !
Cool thing with the dates, all I know is passing my HGV on the last one 5/5/05 I would have been 19 days away from turning 15, and I'm 22 now so there ya go haha. Hope ya new house is nice.. This year we will be house hunting although its just to rent initially until she gets on a graduate scheme then we will be looking too buy. But not necessarily in the north east of England or even Britain!
