Coin catalogue forum page - too many pinned topics

8 posts • viewed 108 times

It can be annoying and frustrating having to scroll down to find unread forum posts because there are so many pinned topics at the top of the page. There are three topics for referee recruitment (there also two more on the Free Discussion page) and there are two topics for duplicate coin pages. Please combine these topics to reduce the number clogging up the top of the page.

I heartily agree.

Or create a box for the pinned topics [a sub forum on some software platforms].

I certainly agree as well!

And if you have the merged languages for the  forum you get even more!!!

You are right, there is too much of those. I asked moderators to unpin and remove some.

If we are combining the forums so they are multi-lingual, then perhaps we should combine the pinned topics, for example:

Report duplicate listings/pages (coins) / Signaler des doublons de pages (pièces) / Reportar listados/páginas duplicadas (monedas)

Referee recruitment / Recrutement de referants / Reclutamiento de árbitros

(CCIP) Co-operative catalogue improvement project - image cropping / (PCAC) Projet coopératif d'amélioration du catalogue : détourage de photos / (PMCC) Proyecto de mejora del catálogo cooperativo - recorte de imágenes

This method is already in place on the Referee forum page.

Makes sense?

Oh, I did not started using that feature, and did not realise this might be a bigger problem! Will check, thanks for heads up!
