I have been drawn to this entry as friends returned to UK bearing one of these coins for me (as a gift).

I note the obverse image and information details “1 DOLLAR”, however the image on the info-card at the bottom of this entry shows the coin to have no face value (it appears on the reverse only).

Further, the mintage on the info-card (in the bottom image as I don't have the card) details mintage as 10,000…

Is there a different coin not sold on an info-card or is this record incorrect?

I think  it’s just a mistake, someone used or reused  the wrong  picture .

Message sent to referee to confirm.

For the mintage I think  the card  shows the maximum mintage  planned vs the reel qty sold..

Hi - Thanks for the post. Yes it looks like the wrong obverse image has been used on the coin obverse picture on Numista. The actual coin only has the denomination on the reverse.

The Royal Australian Mint made the mistake when they issued drawings of the coin which have been re-used on Numista. I will attempt to get the Obverse picture corrected.

Regarding the mintage Québécois is correct. Projected mintage was 10,000 but actual mintage produced was 4,956.
