Ancient Greece

Hi colleagues.

Sorry, I already had them here - I just don't want to say goodbye to them in the dustbin of history, I think they have a chance of identification-it's just me going round and round.

a,I know that I have already divided it, it is an owl or a falcon and the letter "Z", on the side an inscription ending with the letters "AI",

Bronze
the weight is: 6,51 g

size: 20,68 mm

Th: 3,25 mm

b,At this second one-I'm sure it is,, Seleucia about-Selekuos  IV.

Bronze

weight is: 2,80g

size:15,78x14mm,

Th-3,17mm

( indented bronze. Head of Apollo right, -Apollo standing left, holding arrow and left elbow resting on tripod)

It just doesn't seem to me which one it is, I can't find it - I mean in terms of weight, size, etc.

This one is the closest:

N#276552

I found the link somewhere confused : that my coin has a different weight and size , and I have nowhere to verify -that it can be an option:SC 983 ,Cooverage Hoover Seleukid 518  ( I don't have a catalog)

Guys and girls, does anyone know the way? Ancient Greece is truly a labyrinth and a great mint eminent.

The "b" still comes out as the closest coin to me, I only know that the ancient Greeks were precise in weighing metal.

The difference is simply huge, I have no catalog and this is the only source of my information. So I assume this is a new variant.

BMC 23 , https://www.wildwinds.com/coins/greece/seleucia/seleukos_IV/t.html

Seleukos IV, 187-175 BC, serrated bronze of 21 mm, 8.68 gr. Laureate head of Apollo right, ME monogram behind head / BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΣEΛEYKOY, Apollo standing left, holding arrow and resting left elbow on tripod, AI monogram in lower left field.

only mine is lighter to much weight: 2.80g

dimension: 15.78

Can I live with this finding?

Ivan
