Peru 20 Nuevos soles 1996

I picked up some coins at an auction today, having a sort through and came across a 1996 Peru 20 Neuvos soles, as pictured. I saw some similar in the Exonumia catalogue, but this one is a Piedfort one. Can anyone shed any light?

Shed a light about what? What is your question?

What I would like to know is if the coin is in fact a coin or a token/medallion of some kind, mintage figures , and possibly who minted it. I have a Romania 100 Lei (X# P21, N# 182756) and wondered if they were from the same mint. Frenchlover's  post shows the mintage figures, though the obverse on mine is different to the one in his/her (sorry) link.

She is right. The picture is from X# 14.1 and yours is piedfort with same design as X# 14.2.
