What coin is this?

I bought this coin a few days ago that is very strange.

 

It is 8 mm in diameter, says Greece on the obverse in English. Has the face of who I believe is Alexander the Great.

Doesn't look like a coin at all.

 

Maybe some cloth ornament, pendant or as well pointed by Frenchlover, a ring.
