Size and reverse inscription suggest a Byzantine follis.

This one has a four line inscription, but I am not at all sure it is a match.

 Agreed with the country - my suggestion [23mm]

 As the obverse image is larger like yours is. 

If reverse image is rotated 180 degrees it looks to have 

the top line ending in MA lettering.
