weight: 2.99g

diameter: 16mm

composition: bullion[?]

 

What might this coin be?

Excellent ID, Geison. Here are some more examples from Zeno.

 

The metal is billon (a mixture of silver and copper), dirham, Saffarid, Taj al-din Harb, AH 564-610
