Hi,

I could not search any Spanish coin by its year depicted on the coin, e.g. 1957 25 Pesetas (KM# 787)

I think that we must correct this so that Numista users could search such coins using the date written on the coin. Because not every collector knows that the actual year is in the star and most collectors will search for their coins using the year they see on the coin they have. The same goes for Spain 25 Pesetas 1975 (KM# 808), etc.

I mean coin search must be working by both the “written-on-the-coin” year and the actual years.

Thank you!

Alex

I see no problem

KM# 787

KM# 808

Well, I did like this:

All issuers = Spain

Face value = 25

Gregorian date = 1957 or 1975

Gregorian is always the actual year, you should either use the “easy” search or if filters are necessary the lettering (not really useful for dates most of the time) or “year” filter if you don't know enough.

Search query

Okay, thank you so much! I've got it 😀
