Marie Alexandre Lucien Coudray was a French sculptor and medalist, who was born in Paris on 21 February 1864 and died in 1932. In 1882, Coudray entered the National School of Fine Arts in Paris , where he was a student of Auguste Dumont, Gabriel-Jules Thomas, Henri Émile Allouard, and Hubert Ponscarme. He won the first Grand Prix de Rome for medal and gem engraving in 1893 for his medal depicting Orpheus putting Cerberus to sleep to the sounds of his lyre.
Marie Alexandre Lucien Coudray est un sculpteur et médailleur français, né à Paris le 21 février 1864 et mort en 1932. En 1882, Coudray entre à l'École nationale des beaux-arts de Paris, où il est l'élève d'Auguste Dumont, Gabriel-Jules Thomas, Henri Émile Allouard et Hubert Ponscarme. Il obtient le premier Grand Prix de Rome de gravure de médailles et pierre fine en 1893 pour sa médaille représentant Orphée endormant Cerbère au son de sa lyre.
