Cant find Luxembourg crown size Medal in any Catalog, Looking for any background and mintage information

been in my unidentified box for 20 years now.  

.88 oz, 37.15mm, smooth edge. 

 

 There was also a Bronze version …

Hello,

 

you will find this medal in "Les Médailles dans l'histoire du pays de Luxembourg" Tome III by Raymond Weiller 1997 under number 13 (page 35).

This medal was engraved by Paul Kramer and published by the BCEE (Banque et Caisse d'Epargne de l'Etat) on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Grand Duchess Charlotte.


There are 3 different types:
- Gold - 900 ‰ - 12.9 g. - 26 mm - reeded edge - Mintage: 600 ex.
- Silver - 900 ‰ - 25 g. - 37 mm - smooth edge - Mintage: 700 ex
- Bronze - 70 mm - Mintage: 500 ex
