Help with Roman coin

Can anyone help identify the emperor and therefore date of this coin? Letters worn but I was thinking Constantine or after with the Greek Cross?

Many thanks, Joe

I can't read the emperor's name however it definitely has a chi-rho on the reverse so late Roman. My best guess is Magnentius as he's the only one I know used this reverse and the portrait also fits. I'm not sure if anyone else used this reverse or if it's maybe early Byzantine.

Try reading the few remaining letters on your coins obverse and check examples of Magnentius's coins here to see if yours fits: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/magnentius/t.html

I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

Thanks for the quick response! Looks very much like it is…I also found decentius , his brother who looks similar but the last 3 letters behind the head fit better with magnentius…

Thanks ever so much!
