Wikidata IDs have been displayed on Numista for some time already, especially in the descriptions of the issuers and the mints, pursuing an objective of linked data, to benefit from the integration between databases.
Following an initiative from stratocaster, Wikidata now also has links to Numista!
- Property Numista ID (P10205) for coins, banknotes and exonumia items
For example, the Wikidata entity for the US trade dollar (Q4461040) links to the Numista coin N# 16466.
- Property Numista mint ID (P10197)
For example, the Wikidata entity for the Swissmint (Q672792) links to the Numista mint #247.
This will help other projects to more easily integrate with Numista.
