My question is about the first 2 pictures. The coin is the 1902 King Edward VII Half Penny (first year of reign) in the United Kingdom coin collection. The coin pictured is in my collection and I cannot receive an answer to the question I have about the coin. The question is: The coin that I have is composed out of silver, not bronze. I would like to know if this an error in the minting of the coin or any information about the coin will be greatly appreciated. The other 2 pictures show my coin next to a 1905 Half Penny composed of bronze for comparison. The dimensions of the coin are the same as the 1905 coin. Thank you, Simon (englandnative1.
Probably plated with silver post mint. Is it heavier than your other coin?

I had both coins weighed and they are the same. I also had the coin tested for silver and the test came up as the coin being silver-plated as you said. Thank you for the reply, Simon.
