could someone identify this for me I’ve used Coinoscope but it did not take all I know is that it is medieval, please. It is also thin as paper. Just proud of 10 mm.

Hi,

First of all, please write the diameter of the coin. It greatly helps with the identification, it's a big search filter.

Secondly, try searching in the Hungary catalog, I think it's from there because of the shield with the letters K and B on it's sides.

Thanks and the coin comes in at just proud of 1 centimeter and what type would you think it be then because there are so many that don’t have pictures that are copper

​It's not copper, but billon or low silver. It means that only 50% or less of the coin material is actually silver (the other 50% being copper).

The date could be 1623 (between 9:00 and 12:00 on the Madonna side of coin)

Please note that the coin I linked is an obol, but the coin @krezga linked is a denar, which is a larger denomination.

I think a 10 mm diameter is more consistent with an obol. If you can weigh the coin and the weight is less than 0.5 g this confirms it is an obol.

You linked the same coin, that is definetly not an obol. On the obols (obulus) there are no legend, just the date.
Gabor Bethlen just has two obols:

Thank you for clarifying.
I don't have a catalog, and was just using auction listings to do the research. Fruhwald listed a couple of these as obols, but no catalog reference, and with a weight of 0.35g for one of them.

But we all know auction houses make mistakes.
