Wow, many many years have passed and recently I wanted to picture every coin I have, (another topic), anyways,
I noticed my earlier grading skills,,,

well more or less was at least very amateur. After all, I knew nothing about grading. I can attribute numista and making trades, taking advice and willing to study the coins I have. Now I see many mistakes I made in the past, sometimes I would judge a coin on color or brightness, never mind the details, it looked good, lol.

Now, that said, I always have more to learn and by no means an expert, just saying "Ive improved"
looks like I was about 2 grades off for the most part, : instance, I would have judged say a coin UNC in the past and it was actually XF.
So, I think it is good go go back thru your collections/swap list every so often and take a re-gander at your details and grades.
Have any of you ever experienced this?
