I believe the 1981 mintage for Iceland 5 Krónur (Magnetic) https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1551.html

is not correct, as this was the mintage for the copper-nickel non-magnetic coin already shown on https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6882.html

so the incorrect line should be removed.
Do you have a source stating they didn't struck equally amounts of these coins?

There's no minting numbers here.
Oh come on, use your brain. Whoever created these entries made a simple copying error.

The copper nickel coins were minted from 1981 to 1992, in 1996 the composition was changed to nickel-plated steel. Obviously there were no nickel-plated steel coins minted in 1981. It's the same with the 1kr and 10kr, except they changed in a different year.

If you have ever been to Iceland or handled any Iceland coins this is self-evident.
I like your attitide. You must be a fun guy to be around! :wiz:

You said that the mintage must be wrong because reasons. Now you say that the 1981 magnetic(?) doesn't exist at all. So, which one is it?

He's probably right:

Maybe he is funny, maybe he is not. A bit haughty, yes, nevertheless he's right, the 1981 never came in a magnetic version, since that was introduced only in 1996.

I never said he was wrong, or right. But he started the thread by saying the mintage numbers were wrong.
