Description

Official Lithuania 2021 BU coin set of 8 Coins. 

This BU coin set is dedicated to the Fluxus art movement , founded by Lithuanian George Maciunas. 

This avant-garde movement, inspired by the Dadaists and John Cage, humorously questioned the status of art and the artist in society. 

All the coins depict the coat of arms of Lithuania, which features an armoured knight on horseback, wielding a sword and carrying

a shield with Jagellonian cross.  This emblem is known as “Vytis”.
