Description

The expanded circulation set issued upon the introduction of the "metal two-hundred" into circulation. The coin set includes the complete denomination series of the 2009 circulation coins in Proof (PP) quality. The two-hundred forint coin, minted from 2009, entered circulation on June 15, 2009. The obverse design was chosen by online voters from options including two bridges, two protected plants, and two birds. The new 200-forint coin replaced the 200-forint banknote. The paper predecessor was withdrawn from circulation in November 2009.
