Description

This six coin Set was issued by the RAM to commemorate the six different effigies of Queen Elizabeth II used on Australian coinage.

Coins in the set had Portrait/Effigies as follows :-
5 cent - 1st Portrait - Mary Gillick
10 Cent - 2nd Portrait - Arnold Machin
20 Cent - 3rd Portrait - Raphael David Maklouf
50 Cent - 4th Portrait - Ian Rank-Broadley
$1 - 5th Portrait - Vladimir Gottwald
$2 - 6th Portrait - Jody Clark

The Gillick portrait had only been used on pre-decimal coins.

The Gottwald portrait had only been used on a one off 50 cent in 2000.

Coins were issued in a blister pack in a cardboard card which was inserted into an outer cardboard outer sleeve.
