Description
This Triple Coin Proof Set was issued in by the RAM in 2001. All three coins commemorate the Federation of the original six colonies of Australia to form the Commonwealth of Australia. This particular set celebrates the Australian Capital Territory. It is one of nine different 3 Coin Federation Proof Sets that were issued by the RAM.
Each set included the same proof $1 coloured coin, a unique proof 50 cent coin and a unique proof 20 cent coin. Versions of these coins were also released into circulation.
The coins in the set were issued in capsules, placed in a plush case which was inserted into a cardboard slipcase.
