Official Vatican Euro Proof coin set of 9 coins.

Contains one 50 euro gold coin (sculptor Orietta Rossi, engraver Luciana De Simoni), with the theme "Holy Year of Mercy MMXVI ". The obverse of the coin depicts the Holy Father opening the Holy Door of the Vatican Basilica; on his miter is the Virgin of Mercy. The reverse features an image inspired by the Jubilee logo: Jesus carrying a man, representing all humanity, on his shoulders.
