1999 - Australian Baby Uncirculated Set Koala & Baby

This 6 coin Baby Mint Year set was issued by the RAM in 1999. The Theme was Koala & Baby.

There were five standard definition coins included, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, & $2.

The $1 coin was a commemorative coin, celebrating "Year of the Older Person".

A Copper Token/Medallion was included for engraving of a baby name.

This was the first year that the 4th Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley was used on the obverse of the coins.

Coins were issued in a blister pack cardboard card which was inserted in a cardboard outer sleeve.
