1999 - Australian Proof Set Year of Older Persons

This 6 coin Proof Year Set was issued by the RAM in 1999.

There were five standard definition coins included, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c & $2.

This was the first Proof Set to feature the 4th Portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The $1 coin was a commemorative coin, celebrating the International Year of Older Persons.

Coins were issued in a sealed clear plastic slab which was clipped into a black plastic folder that was inserted into a cardboard sleeve.
