Projekt jest inspirowany ośmiornicami przedstawionymi w sztuce minojskiej i w serii krzywych wymienia nazwy dwunastu krajów strefy euro: "Belgique/België, Deutschland, Eire, España, France, Ellada, Italia, Luxembourg, Nederland, Österreich, Portugal, Suomi". Na czterech końcach "macek" znajdują się trzy francuskie strony monet euro i inicjały "RF". Dwanaście gwiazd Europy i nominał "1½ EURO" uzupełniają kompozycję, przywołując francuską wyjątkowość w różnorodności Europy.
